What is Vitaxel?
Originally launched in August 2015 in Malaysia, Vitaxel Group Limited is engaged in the direct selling industry, as well as online shopping platform mainly through its operating entities in Malaysia.
Founder Lim Hui Boon together with Leon Yee Ming, who acts as the CEO, currently run Vitaxel.
Mr. Boon was previously the founder of Ho Wah-Genting as well. Being a global direct selling, MLM (multi-level marketing) company, they have a wide portfolio of business interests that encompass manufacturing, trading, mining, and travel.
They offer travel, entertainment, lifestyle, in addition to other products and services primarily through electronic commerce.
The Company (listed as VXEL and operating under the official name of Vitaxel Group) officially went public on the US stock exchange in February 2016.
This may sound impressive on paper, but everything is not necessarily as awesome as it may seem at first.
The stock which hit the scene at 20 cents per share dropped quickly to little more than 3 cents per share after just one week on the stock market.
Looking at the shares right now, it would appear that they are currently selling for only 1 cent each.
As of September 30, 2016, the company had approximately 5,827 members, with up to 4,131 members in Malaysia and roughly 1,141 members in Singapore.
What are the products for Vitaxel?
Taking a look at what the company has to offer for its product line, Vitaxel is working with a very peculiar set-up.
Instead of selling traditional goods or services, they have made the decision to sell a membership subscription which allows subscribers to gain access to the company’s VionMarket.
VionMarket is some kind of e-commerce platform which sells a wide array of merchant products created and manufactured by 3rd-parties.
It is possible to visit the platform without being an affiliate for Vitaxel, however, those who visit the website need to sign up as a member first before they can view and browse the listed products.
VionMarket preferred customer memberships currently cost $15, and this includes 100 VionMarket Points that you can then use to buy products on the online storefront.
The Company offers its members training, which incorporates plan orientation, prospecting and closing skills, personal and leadership development, network management, back-office training, and team-building activities.
Besides, there is also mention of VSpark and VTrips throughout the official website for Vitaxel.
VTrips are listed as “coming soon” while VSpark appears to be some kind of payment processor that Vitaxel is running. There is no mention of these anywhere on the compensation plan.
The Vitaxel Compensation Plan
Speaking of the compensation plan by Vitaxel, affiliates for this company earn money by buying membership packages to VionMarket and by recruiting and sponsoring other affiliates who do the same thing.
There are 3 main packages available to affiliates to invest in:
The Action Package:
The Business Package:
The Career Package:
Buying a more expensive package will allow you to earn more money from your recruits.
Besides, getting your recruits to invest their money in a more expensive package will allow you to earn more as well.
If an affiliate of Vitaxel sponsors a minimum of two package purchasing affiliates in their first 30-days in the company, they will earn a 5 percent recruitment commission bonus from their third-sponsored affiliate and so on.
Cost to Join Vitaxel
If you are interested in becoming a Vitaxel affiliate, you will need to invest in any of the 3 packages listed above.
Vitaxel affiliates can choose between the Career, Business, and Action Package, and each one costs $130, $800, and $2000 respectively.
In addition to this cost, all affiliates are subject to a $15 annual fee, which applies after the first year of affiliate’s membership is up.
Each affiliate package comes bundled with boxes of Amalaki supplement, Travel or Redemption Points, and a certain number of VionMarket Points.
The amount an affiliate can potentially earn is affected by which package they purchase. Choosing to invest in a pricier package will allow one to earn more in the compensation plan.
Is Vitaxel A Scam?
From reading above, you could already be thinking that Vitaxel is a scam. Or you might have heard from a friend that it’s a scam.
So, is there a scam by Vitaxel, or is it legit?
To be honest, Vitaxel is not really a complete scam. However, be sure to take a look at some red flags highlighted in this Vitaxel review since you should now be aware of them.
Vitaxel has tried really hard to make themselves look like a perfectly legit opportunity with their e-commerce platform.
However, after taking a microscope to what is actually taking place, it does not take too much time to comprehend that Vitaxel is operating as nothing more than a pyramid scheme.
Their entire business model and compensation plan are a complete mess.
Vitaxel strongly recommends affiliates to buy 3 positions when signing up for the compensation plan – the Action, Business, and Career packages.
They appear to be the only items being sold, and affiliates get to earn money by purchasing them and then recruiting other affiliates to do the same thing.
One highly probable case is that Vitaxel is bound to collapse once recruitment activity dies down eventually.
If you are struggling to generate money online and desire to finally succeed with actual tools, training, and mentorship to get you there, then it is advisable to stay as far away from Vitaxel as possible.
What Is Recommended (Better Than MLMs)
You must know that there are thousands of work at home programs on the net, but most of them are scams or simply do not work.
I can, however, recommend ONE work at home program that actually works and will allow you to make money from home.
What I really like about this system is the support that you get from the CEO themselves and the fact that you can join for absolutely free (no credit card needed).
This is the same system I use to earn consistent income from the comfort of my home…
