There are many good affiliate marketing manuals out there on the market that teaches you the secret to affiliate success, however many people think that all you have to do is write some content and just leave it and expect it to generate profit on auto-pilot.  This is so far from the truth.

One mistake that most people make when they are out doing affiliate marketing is giving up too easy at the first sign of defeat.

So the big secret which will enable you to achieve success is in just one word:

Think about what your guess would be on this.  That word is…

secret to affiliate success

This is something that seems to be one of the biggest challenges, and the biggest places that people fall down when they are starting their affiliate business.

Many people get into the affiliate world and get really excited, they do a bunch of work for a week or two and then get discouraged that they haven’t made any money yet and give up completely.

This just doesn’t work.   You’re going to have to put in regular consistent action even if it’s only 10 minutes a day or 15 minutes a day. That is going to show much better results than doing a bunch of work in the short bursts and then never touching it again.

So in other words, you want to be blogging consistently or creating videos consistently or mailing your list consistently and updating your website consistently, and creating content consistently.

Too many people are thinking short-term on this subject, and as soon as they don’t see the results they were hoping to see, they start slowing down and then eventually give up.

But the people who will keep on working consistently are the ones that will push through it and actually get the big results and the sustainable results that will enable YOU to see the results for years to come.

So keep on building your online business with consistency, providing valuable content to your visitors.  Giving them a reason to look out for your next post.

    Hey Jason,

I think a lot of people get into affiliate marketing because it’s appealing to a lot of people. I mean what isn’t attractive about making money from working out of the comfort of your own home. There is a learning curve to it, but you do have to treat it like a job, because if you don’t you will fail.

I have been doing it for 6+ years. It’s totally worth it. You should always strive to do something each and every day. Might be a little thing, but always stay proactive and do something.

One thing I have found really helps me is using Google calendar and Evernote. This helps me write down my goals for the day and organize my task.

It is paramount that you do something on your website each day, even if it is to look at it. It is a career and it must be treated as such. Yes, it definitely attracts a lot of people, but it does take a lot of work, concentration and dedication. I congratulate you for your “stickability” when it comes to doing affiliate marketing, because there are a lot of people who just quite on the slightest sight of failure.

They fail to realize that all the successful people that they know have faced obstacles in life, but they did not give up, that is why we know their story today.

I like the fact that you use tools like google calendar and Evernote to help you to keep organized. I use my will power each and everyday to help me to keep focused.

Thank you for your contribution to this post. We will connect.

Just how much though? Should I have new content once a week or maybe twice a week? Maybe I don’t need it that much or maybe I need more. Wish google could tell me the answer to that!

    • Jason says:

      Hey James,

Once you can continue to publish quality content on a regular basic and keep it valuable for your readers, you will not need to worry about reaching success. Just continue to create posts on your website and things will work out just fine.

      Thanks for your contribution.
